Composite Mouldings Ltd (CML) is pleased to announce an increase in sales for pleasure boats in 2010. The Southampton based moulder has a strong track record in producing high quality mouldings for the commercial boat sector but say some of their pleasure boat clients had successful sales at the 2010 London Boat Show, which means they have hulls, decks and ancillary mouldings to build.

Tommi Buckley, marketing manager, says: “we had not forecasted on seeing much business from the pleasure boat market but despite the snow during LBS, it was a fantastic show for our clients and we can now say that a significant proportion of our production schedule for 2010 is made up of pleasure boat mouldings.”

CML work in a variety of markets and have had to diversify their sales efforts to ensure their production schedule has stayed full in last year’s tough climate. They attribute their success to several commercial work boat clients who, with government budgets, have been able to continue placing orders for new boats.
