The B45 will be a light weight cruising boat which will mix luxury family cruising but will still be able to perform. The first boat is being constructed from strip plank cedar with epoxy sheathing on both sides and Kevlar below the waterline (an added safety feature after feedback of increased damage to smaller sea going vessels from waste). The strip plank hull will bring an aesthetically pleasing addition to the current line up of boats in its class being produced from composites, however when the boat goes into production the plan is to infuse the boat with epoxy and a high density PVC core which can be sprayed.
