Carbon Fibre Spiral Staircases for Prickly Bay

Composite Mouldings has completed the Carbon Fibre Staircases (see previous news feeds on the progress of the PBW Spiral Staircases) that are now on their way to Grenada in the Caribbean to be installed onsite for the Prickly Bay Waterside Development. The stairs were built horizontally so that they could be rotated, when in production.

The stairs, built from a special high temperature resin to withstand the heat in the Caribbean on the black surface, was easily picked up by 4 people and moved into their purpose built crates.

The aesthetically pleasing carbon on show, with matt non-slip tread on top of the steps.

Front of the steps and the clear coat carbon walls that will be fitted at the top of the stairs.

CML constructed all the components in purpose built, insulated tents within their factory. This was so that they could keep dust out and the heat in to enable the epoxy to cure.

Prickly Bay Waterside is a development inspired by Superyachts and a product like this one fits the image. If cost was an issue, this product could be constructed out of Polyester or a hybrid fabric.
